Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #207 - Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, September 29th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by cutting 1 inch strips of patterned paper from the Autumn Paper Pad. I then aligned them diagonally and adhered them to a piece of paper that is approximately 5 3/4" x 3 3/4".
Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton from the Newton Makes Plans Stamp Set. I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set. I stamped the leaf image from the Fall-ing for You Stamp Set, colored it in fall colors, and fussy cut it out.
I die cut a piece of kraft paper using the Oval Frames Die Set, stamped the sentiment, which is from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using a brown cardbase measuring 6 1/2" x 5". I used foam tape to pop up the oval for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
