Inky Paws Challenge #182 - Color Challenge

  Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #182 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Orange, Lime Green, Black, and Cream.  You have until Friday, September 23rd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of bat patterned paper from the Halloween Woofs Paper Pad with the scalloped edge frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used a stitched oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set to cut a piece of vellum on which I wanted to place my image.

Next, I stamped this adorable image of Newton from the Witchy Newton Stamp Set.  I love this image and it is definitely one of my Halloween favorites!  I colored the image with copic markers and die cut it with the coordinating die.

I die cut a sentiment banner out of black cardstock using the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spooky Roundabout Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and using black cardstock for the base.  I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment banner and image for some dimension.  I then die cut a couple of bats out of black glitter paper using the bat dies from the Halloween Trio Die Set. 

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents to Newton's nose, and a few black sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
