Newton's Melon Stamp and Die Set, Summertime Paper Pad, Framework Die Set, Circle Frames Die Set, Frames and Flags Die Set by Newton's Nook Designs #newtonsnookdesigns #newtonsnook #handmade

To start this card I used the large postage stamp die in the Framework Die Set to cut the gorgeous watermelon paper from the Summertime Paper Pad.  Next, I used a scalloped circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I blended Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks.  I then sprayed the ink with water, and after the water had dried I splattered it with black metallic watercolor paint.

I stamped the super cute image of Newton with his watermelon from the Newton's Melon Stamp Set.  I colored him with copic markers, then cut him out using the coordinating die set.

I used a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a sentiment banner out of black cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Melon Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up Newton and the sentiment banner!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents, and few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
