Hi everybody! This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! This is Inky Paws Challenge #175 - One Layer Card Theme Challenge. You have until Friday, June 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card, I cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to A2 size. I knew I wanted a border so I used the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set to cut a piece of cardstock I used as a mask. I placed it on my panel and inked all around the edges with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. After taking the mask away, it looks just as if there are two layers!
Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the beautiful floral and butterfly images from the Lilac Stamp Set. I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and splattered the background with watercolor paint.
After the watercolor was dry, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Tulips Stamp Set, directly onto my card in gray pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
For finishing touches on this card I added a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a One Layer Card using your Newton's Nook Designs products! Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
So pretty, love the white embossing
