To start this card I cut a light blue cardbase to 5" x 6 1/2".  I then cut a 2" strip of patterned paper from the Love & Meows Paper Pad.  The paper pad is 6" x 6", so to make up for that 1/2", I cut the patterned paper where it would fall under the large circle so I could extend the paper to the edges of my card!

Next, I stamped out the adorable image from Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set, colored it with Copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I used the Circle Frames Die Set to cut the two stitched circles out of smooth white cardstock.  On the larger circle I used Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean with the Raindrops Stencil.  On the smaller circle, I stamped the sentiment from Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set with black pigment ink and clear embossed for some shine!  I also inked the edges of the smaller circle with Tumbled Glass.

I assembled my card adhering the layers and ribbon, and popping up the image and sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, and glossy accents to Newton's cute little nose and the puddle!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!
