Birthday Treats are Always Calorie Free!

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the brand new Baked with Love Stamp Set!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock for the background.  I then randomly stamped some of the smaller images from the Baked with Love Stamp Set in light gray onto the background.

I stamped out the apron, then used one of the small floral images from the Cup of Tea Stamp Set to create a floral pattern.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the Baked with Love Die Set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Baked with Love Stamp Set, on teal cardstock and white heat embossed.  I cut the sentiment out using the coordinating die set.  

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base.  I die cut a vellum oval on which I layered the apron using foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins from the Candy Christmas Sequin Mix.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Be sure to visit the Pawsome Stamps online shop to pick up your favorite new stamp sets today!

Inky Paws Challenge #192 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #192 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, March 3rd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I used the window frames die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut the patterned paper for the windows.  The patterned paper is from the Love and Chocolate Paper Pad.  I used the same die a second time to die cut the silver glitter window frames.  I also cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and lightly blended on Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to create a background for my images.  

Next, I stamped out these delicious looking chocolates and stand from the Love and Chocolate Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Love and Chocolate Stamp Set, directly onto the background and silver heat embossed.

I assembled my card, die cutting a teal stitched scalloped cardbase using the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set, adhering the layers togethers, and popping up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Birthday Wishes

   Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing a card I created featuring the gorgeous Year 4 Birthday Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, and the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then masked off the top portion of the card and used the Back Alley Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Weathered Wood.  Keeping the stencil in place, I applied a layer of glitter paste to create a sparkling brick wall background!

I stamped out the beautiful flower bouquet and gift images from the Year 4 Birthday Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Year 4 Birthday Stamp Set, directly onto the background in gray pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the images for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #191 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #191 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Cherry Red, Pewter Gray, Daffodil Yellow, and White.  You have until Friday, February 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the Tumbling Hearts Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Squeezed Lemonade.  I left the stencil in place and applied a layer of glitter paste to create a sparkling background!  

I stamped out this super cute image of Newton from the new Newton's Heart Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Newton's Heart Stamp Set, directly onto the heart and white heat embossed.  I used a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut out a red banner and a yellow banner.  

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the banners and Newton for some dimension!

Pawsome Stamps Sneak Peek Day 1 - Let's Roll and Pho Real Stamp Sets

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today for Sneak Peek Day 1 featuring the new Let's Roll and Pho Real Stamp Sets! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and very lightly blended on Distress Oxide Inks Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet because I wanted a lighter background.  I then used glitter paste with the new Retro Confetti Stencil to create a fun, sparkling background!

I stamped out the images from the new Let's Roll and Pho Real Stamp Sets, and colored them with copic markers.  I fussy cut them out, but there will be die sets available!

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Let's Roll Stamp Set, onto purple cardstock.  I white heat embossed the sentiment and fussy cut it out.   

I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base, adhering some images directly to the card, and popping others up for some dimension!

Love Puffins

  Hi everybody!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing a card I created featuring the adorable Love Puffin Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop, and the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Valentine Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet to create a gorgeous purple heart background!  I then splattered the background with watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

I stamped out this super cute image of the puffin couple from the Love Puffin Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I used the Love - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies to create the sentiment.  I die cut the word "Love" out of white glitter cardstock, and the shadow out of purple cardstock.

I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base.  I used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #191 - Color Challenge

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  I used the horizontal hearts stencil from the Slimline Masking Hearts Stencil Set with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to create the background.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped out these super cute robot images from the Love Bots Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die set.

I then used a banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut a red sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Love Bots Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using red cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the images and sentiment banner for some dimension!
