Butterfly Friend Card

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the Friend - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs!

For this 5x7 card I used the Butterfly - 3x4 Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Worn Lipstick to create a gorgeous background!  I then splattered the butterfly background with some gold watercolor paint.

Next, I die cut the word "Friend" with the Friend - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies, using orange glitter cardstock for the shadow.

I assembled my card using orange glitter cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

I Love You More than Bamboo

  Hi everyone!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the Good Luck Lanterns and Playful Pandas Stamps Sets.  Even though Valentine's Day is over, all of those heart stamp sets work perfectly for Anniversaries too!

To start this card I cut a dark gray cardbase to A2 size.  I then die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I blended Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Candied Apple.  I splattered my ink blended background with white and gold paint and set it aside to dry.  

I stamped out this super cute panda holding a heart from the Playful Pandas Stamp Set, colored him with Copic markers, and cut him out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I die cut a vellum circle, and a dark gray banner for my sentiment.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Playful Pandas Stamp Set.  By this time, the paint splatters on my ink blended background had dried, and I gold heat embossed the gorgeous Good Luck Lanterns background stamp onto my ink blended panel.  

I assembled my card, adhering the Good Luck Lanterns background to my cardbase, and the vellum circle to the background.  I used foam tape to adhere and pop up the sentiment banner and image for some dimension!  

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glossy accents to the heart and panda's nose, and a few sparkling sequins from the Sweetheart Sequin Mix.  I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Head on over to the Pawsome Stamps online shop to pick up your Playful Pandas and Good Luck Lanterns Stamp Sets today!

Inky Paws Challenge #167 - Color Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #167 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Sunny Yellow, Spring Green, Taffy Pink, and White.  You have until Friday, February 25th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  I love this color combo and am so excited to get making Spring cards again!

To start this card I cut a green A2 size cardbase.  Next, I used the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I used Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Kitsch Flamingo with the Bold Blooms Stencil to create a colorful background.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

I stamped out the gorgeous image of a girl holding a bouquet of tulips from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set.  I colored the image with Copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I used the Circle Frames Die Set to cut a piece of vellum, and a banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set to cut a piece of green cardstock for my sentiment.  I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment, also from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set, onto the banner.  

I assembled my card, adhering the floral background to the cardbase, and the vellum circle to the background.  I used foam tape to adhere and pop up the sentiment banner and the image for some dimension!

Friend Like You Card

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the gorgeous Flower Whale and Friend - Scripty Stamp Sets by The Rabbit Hole Designs!

For this card I used the Corner Mandala Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean to create a gorgeous teal and blue background!

I stamped out the beautiful Flower Whale Stamp twice, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating die set.  

Next, I die cut two teal banners on which I stamped a sentiment from the Friend - Scripty Stamp Set and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base.  I used foam tape to pop up the sentiment banners, and both Flower Whales for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents and a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #166 - Heart Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is and Inky Paws Challenge #166 - Heart Theme.  You have until Friday, February 11th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

To start this card I cut a red cardbase to 5" x 7".  I then used the scalloped frame die from the awesome new A7 Frames & Banners Die Set to cut a piece of kraft cardstock on which I used Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Candied Apple with the also new, Petite Hearts Stencil.  I love the new A7 die set, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites!  

Next, I stamped the Heartfelt Love Stamp on smooth white cardstock and clear heat embossed.  I die cut the heart out using the largest scalloped heart die from the Heart Frames Die Set.  I then blended Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Candied Apple onto the heart.  

I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the stitched banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set, clear heat embossed my sentiment from the Heartfelt Love Stamp Set, and ink blended using the same colors. 

I assembled my card adhering the kraft cardstock background to the red cardbase, and popping up the heart and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Colorful Friend Card

 Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a card I created using the new Friend - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs!

For this card I used the Garden Trellis Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Mermaid Lagoon to create a bright and colorful background!  I then splattered the ink blended background with some silver watercolor paint.

Next, I die cut the word "Friend" with the Friend - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies, using purple cardstock for the shadow.

I assembled my card using purple cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added a few sparkling sequins!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Sweets for my Sweet Valentine Card

  Hi everyone!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this Valentine card I created using the new and gorgeous Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set!

To start this card I cut a red glitter cardbase, and then die cut the heart background from cream colored cardstock.  I stamped the string of hearts, cupcake, candy and envelope images from the awesome new Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I then stamped the cupcake stand from the Jolly Cupcakes Stamp Set, colored it with very light blue to look like glass, and cut it out with the coordinating die.  

I die cut a stitched fishtail banner from dark gray cardstock and white heat embossed my sentiment, which is from the Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set.

I assembled my card adhering the cream colored heart background to the red glitter base, and adhering the string of hearts directly onto the card.  I then used foam tape to pop up the rest of the images and sentiment banner for some dimension!
