Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge Reminder Post
Hi everybody! This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post! This is Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, June 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
Next, I stamped out the super cute Company of Cats image and used the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out a portion of that image, then colored it with copic markers. I used a smaller circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out a piece of white cardstock that I wanted to use for the sentiment.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from Company of Cats, onto the piece of white cardstock in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine! I then used Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink again to ink around the sentiment.
I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and popping up the sentiment circle with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge
Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! This is Inky Paws Challenge #225 - Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, June 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
I started this card by die cutting a piece of light purple cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set. I then used the Mugs Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Wilted Violet to create the background. I picked out a couple pieces of patterned paper from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad, and cut one to 2.5" wide and used the scalloped frame die to match the edging on the purple cardstock. I used the Circle Frames Die Set to cut the coffee bean paper, and the kraft paper I wanted to use for the sentiment.
Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton from Newton's Book Club Stamp Set, and the coffee cup from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set. I colored both images with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set, onto the piece of circle kraft paper in brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card, adhering the layers together, and popping up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a little glitter, and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!

You have until Friday, June 7th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
Next, I decided on the patterned paper I wanted to use from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad. I die cut the pink paper using the largest rectangle die from the Basic Frames Die Set, and I cut the yellow paper using the large zig zag frame from the Frames and Tags Die Set.
I then cut out a green sentiment banner using a fishtail die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Caffeinated Cats, and white heat embossed.
I assembled my card using a green cardbase. I then popped up the image with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents on all the kitties noses, and a few sparkling sequins!
