Inky Paws Challenge #222 - Sketch Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #222 - Sketch Challenge.  You have until Friday, May 10th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

I started this card by picking out the patterned papers I wanted to use from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  I then die cut the green plaid paper and gray window frames using the Frames and Tags Die Set.

Next, I stamped out this absolutely gorgeous image, and a few extra blooms, from the Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set.  I colored all of the images with copic markers, then cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Best Mom Oval, directly onto the paper with black pigment ink.  

I assembled my card using the polka dot paper for a base, and adhered the window frames and images with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added glitter to the cherry blossoms with a glitter pen!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Hello Friend

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today with this card I created using the absolutely gorgeous Floral Butterfly Stamp Set.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock.  I stamped on the butterfly image and sentiment, then gold heat embossed.

I used my Zig Markers to color in the image.  I then splattered the card with the same Zig colors, and gold watercolor paint as well.

I assembled my card using a pink cardbase.  I then added some gold sparkling sequins from the Mint Chip Sequin Mix!

Inky Paws Challenge #221 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #221 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Dusty Blue, Moss Green, Golden Yellow, and White.  You have until Friday, April 26th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!  

To start this card I die cut a piece of blue polka dot paper from the Pastel Basics Paper Pad with the zig zag frame die from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I then used the window die from the same set to cut out the green window frames.

I stamped out this super cute image of the mice with their cupcake, and party hat, from the Birthday Mice Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a small tag from green cardstock using a die from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Birthday Mice Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and adhered the window frames, image, and tag using foam tape for some dimension!  I then stamped the "eek!" sentiment in the top window with black pigment ink.

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a little glitter, glossy accents, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Inky Paws Challenge #221 - Color Challenge

I stamped out these absolutely gorgeous birdhouses from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink.  I clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and adhered the images using foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme.  You have until Friday, April 12th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

I started this card by selecting the polka dot papers I wanted to use from the Autumn Paper Pad.  I then die cut them using the new Frames and Tags Die Set and Basic Frames Die Set.  I love both of these new die sets and couldn't wait to use them!

Next, I stamped out this super cute mouse image from the Garden Mice Stamp Set, and butterflies from Newton's Bird Bath.  I colored all of the images with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.

I then used the fishtail banner die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut out a dark brown sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Garden Mice Stamp Set, onto the banner and cream heat embossed.

I assembled my card using dark brown cardstock for the base.  I popped up the images and sentiment banner using foam tape for some dimension!

Marvelous Perfumes

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the new Marvelous Perfumes Stamp and Die Set!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Moroccan Flowers Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Kitsch Flamingo.  Leaving the stencil in place, I went over it with glitter paste to create a gorgeous sparkling background!

I stamped these beautiful images from the Marvelous Perfumes Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers, then cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a pink sentiment banner, stamped the sentiment, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using a pink cardbase.  I popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #220 - Polka Dot Theme.  You have until Friday, April 12th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

I started this card by selecting the polka dot papers I wanted to use from the new Pastel Basics Paper Pad.  I then die cut them all, and the light gray paper as well, using the new A2 Card Layout Die Set.  I absolutely love this new die set!

Next, I stamped out this gorgeous Spring image from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I then used the fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set to cut out a gray sentiment banner.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spring Roundabout, onto the banner and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base.  I popped up the image and sentiment banner using foam tape for some dimension!
