Happy Halloween!

  Happy Halloween everyone!  I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this not so spooky Halloween card that I created using the Macrons Stamp Set.  I wanted to show off the versatility of this set by using Halloween colors.  You can also use Christmas colors for a Holiday card, or your recipients favorite colors for a Birthday card! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Mummy Wrap Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Villainous Potion.  I used a very light hand while inking the background to achieve the lighter look.  I then splattered on black watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.  

Next, I stamped this delicious looking stack of macrons with the ribbon from the Macrons Stamp Set, colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a sentiment banner out of black cardstock, stamped the sentiment, which if from the Spooky Cupcakes Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment banner for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter to the ribbon with a glitter pen, and a few sparkling sequins from the Hocus Pocus Sequin Mix.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Be sure to visit the Pawsome Stamps online shop to pick up your favorite new stamp sets today!

Inky Paws Challenge #185 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #185 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Coral, Wine Red, Denim Blue, and Caramel Brown.  You have until Friday, November 4th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  Next, I used the squares stencil from the Slimline Masking Circles and Squares Stencil Set, and blended on Distress Oxide Ink Faded Jeans.  Leaving the squares stencil in place, I used the Petite Snow Stencil with glitter paste to create a snowy background!

Next, I stamped these super cute images from the Holiday Hounds Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Holiday Hounds Stamp Set, on dark kraft cardstock in brown pigment ink, and clear heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using dark kraft cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, glossy accents to the pup's noses and lights, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

TRHD November Re-release Inspiration Hop - Day 3

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs November Re-release Inspiration Hop!  It is featuring 1 Line Christmas Stamp Sets, and I am using the 1 Line Reindeer Stamp Set.  I love these stamp sets because you can make fast and easy, but beautiful cards with them!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock which I then prepped with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.  Next, I stamped and silver heat embossed the image and sentiment from the 1 Line Reindeer Stamp Set.

I then die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Retro Christmas Paper Pack, and assembled my card layers using red cardstock for the base.

For finishing touches on this card I added red glitter to the reindeer's nose and a few silver confetti pieces!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

TRHD November Re-release Inspiration Hop - Day 2

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs November Re-release Inspiration Hop!  It is featuring the gorgeous Bunny Christmas Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.  I then splattered on some white paint and set it aside to dry.  After the paint was dry, I used the Mid-Century Modern #2 Stencil to create the large, gorgeous snowflakes in the background.

Next, I stamped this adorable image from the Bunny Christmas Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a dark blue fishtail banner for the sentiment, prepped it with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped the sentiment from the Bunny Christmas Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using dark blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and glossy accents!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

Inky Paws Challenge #185 - Color Challenge

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I used the Reindeer Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to create the background.  

Next, I stamped this gorgeous image from the Festive Fawns Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out with the coordinating die set.

I die cut a sentiment banner out of dark kraft cardstock using a fishtail banner die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Festive Fawns Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I assembled my card using dark kraft cardstock for base.  I die cut a vellum circle using the Circle Frames Die Set to layer underneath the image.  I adhered the image and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter with a glitter pen, and glossy accents to the deer's nose and hooves!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

You Make my Heart Dance

   Hi everybody!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing a card I created using the beautiful Bunny Ballet Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Garden Trellis Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, and Seedless Preserves.  I then splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry. 

Next, I stamped this gorgeous image from the Bunny Ballet Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and fussy cut it out.

I prepped a piece of paper with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped the sentiment from the Bunny Ballet Stamp Set in gray pigment ink, and clear heat embossed.  I then fussy the sentiment and backed it with gold glitter cardstock.

I assembled my card using gold glitter cardstock for the base, and adhered the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and glossy accents to the bunnies noses!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #184 - Halloween Theme Reminder Post

  Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #184 - Halloween Theme.  You have until Friday, October 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock using the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set.  I then blended on Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot to create a Halloween sky.  I used the grass die from the Land Borders Die Set to cut out some black cardstock, and the Sky Scene Builder Die Set to cut out the moon. 

Next, I stamped this super cute image from the Halloween Pile Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and die cut it out using the coordinating die set. I stamped the tree and owl from the Spooky Street Stamp Set directly onto my background in black pigment ink. I then stamped the gravestones from the same stamp set and fussy cut them out.  

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Spooky Street Stamp Set, onto black cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut the sentiment.

I assembled my card using black cardstock for the base, and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Hello Fall!

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this Fall card I created using the Falling Leaves Spotlight Stencil and a few different stamp sets!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock and used the Falling Leaves Spotlight Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Candied Apple and Mustard Seed to create a gorgeous background!  I then splattered on some gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.  

Next, I stamped the coffee cup image from the Coffee Besties Stamp Set, and the pumpkin from the Coffee Llama Stamp Set.  I colored both images with copic markers, and cut them out using their coordinating die sets.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Fall Sign Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using brown cardstock for the base, and popped up the coffee cup with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #184 - Halloween Theme

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #184 - Halloween Theme.  You have until Friday, October 21st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of purple cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set.  I used the window die from the same set to die cut black glitter window frames.  I then used the window die again to cut the candy patterned paper from the Halloween Woofs Paper Pad for the inside of the windows.

Next, I stamped these adorable kitten images from the Trick or Treat Kittens Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

For the sentiment, I used the "Trick or Treat" die from the Halloween Trio Die Set.  I die cut the sentiment from purple cardstock three times, adhering the die cuts together to create dimension. 

I assembled my card using black glitter cardstock for the base, and foam tape to adhere the widow frames and images.

  Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today with this card I created using the adorable Book Lover Stamp Set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats.

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock and used the Back Alley Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink Weathered Wood to create a nice spot for our book lovers to read and enjoy their books!

Next, I stamped this super cute image from the Book Lover Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and fussy cut it out.  I then added silver glitter pen to all of the accents on the books for some extra sparkle!

I prepped the background paper where I wanted to stamp the sentiment with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped the sentiment from the Book Lover Stamp Set in gray pigment ink, and clear heat embossed.  

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base, and adhered the image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparkling sequins.  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock using the tag die from the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set.  I blended on Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot.  I then splattered on some black and white paint and set it aside to dry.

Next, I used the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set to cut the bat patterned paper, which is from the Halloween Meows Paper Pad.  I used the fishtail banner die, from the Frames and Flags Die Set, to cut the banners out of black glitter cardstock.

I stamped out this adorable image of Newton from Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  I stamped out the stars and bat, which are from the same set, and die cut them as well.   

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set, on black cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut it out.  

I assembled my card using black glitter cardstock for the base.  I adhered all the layers together, popping up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
