Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Sketch Challenge. You have until Friday, February 27th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out the papers I wanted to use from the Birthday Party Paper Pad. This card measures 5" x 6.5". The balloon paper is cut to 5" x 3", the party hat paper is cut to 3" x 3" and the confetti paper is cut to 2.75" x 1.75". The lime colored papers are all cut to one quarter inch larger on each side to create a border around the patterned papers.
I stamped this super cute image of the kitties and their tower of ice cream cones from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set. I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Birthday Delights Stamp Set, onto blue cardstock and white heat embossed. I then fussy cut around the sentiment.
I assembled my card according to the sketch and popped up the image and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter on the sprinkles, and glossy accents to the kitties' noses! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Sketch Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
