Hi everybody! This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue. You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. I die cut the patterned paper, and a piece of smooth white cardstock, with the A2 Card Layout 2 Die. I then inked the edges of the rectangle cut outs with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.
I stamped these beautiful images from the Bells and Holly Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the sentiments, which are from the Bells and Holly Stamp Set, onto the small rectangle cut outs with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and popped up the patterned frame and images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
