Inky Paws Challenge #245 - Color Challenge Week 4

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue.  You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad and die cut it using the Fractured Card Layout Die.  I then used the same die to cut out the light blue frame.

I stamped out this beautiful image from the Christmas Cactus Stamp Set.  I colored it with copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Christmas Cactus Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then inked the edges of the banner with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

I assembled my card using light blue cardstock for the base.  I tucked the end of the cactus under the frame and popped up the sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a tiny bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue.  You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad and die cut it using the A2 Card Layout Die Set.  I then used the same die to cut out the red frame.

I stamped out all of these fun holiday drinks from the Christmas Cocktails Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Christmas Cocktails Stamp Set, onto red cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a layer of green cardstock and a layer of red cardstock for the base.  I popped up all of the drinks and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue.  You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad.  I die cut the patterned paper, and a piece of smooth white cardstock, with the A2 Card Layout 2 Die.  I then inked the edges of the rectangle cut outs with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.  

I stamped these beautiful images from the Bells and Holly Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiments, which are from the Bells and Holly Stamp Set, onto the small rectangle cut outs with black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base, and popped up the patterned frame and images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #245 - Color Challenge Week 1

 Hi everyone!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue.  You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad.  I then die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the Postage Stamp Layout Die.  I used Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass to blend some light blue onto the little rectangles.  I used the Postage Stamp Layout Die again to cut out a piece of light blue cardstock to use as the border around the rectangles.

I stamped all of these adorable images from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set, onto the top middle rectangle in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using light blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
