Hi everyone! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen, and Arctic Blue. You have until Friday, October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I picked out a piece of patterned paper I wanted to use for my background from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad. I then die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the Postage Stamp Layout Die. I used Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass to blend some light blue onto the little rectangles. I used the Postage Stamp Layout Die again to cut out a piece of light blue cardstock to use as the border around the rectangles.
I stamped all of these adorable images from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set, onto the top middle rectangle in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!
I assembled my card using light blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen, a bit of glitter, and a few sparkling sequins!
