Inky Paws Challenge - Color Challenge Week 2

  Hi everybody!  This is the Monthly Inky Paws Challenge for October!  This is Week 2 of the Color Challenge.  The colors are Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Cream.  You have until Friday, November 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I picked out the olive polka dot paper from the Autumn Basics Paper Pad to use as my background.  I then die cut it, and the lighter gray frame using the A2 Card Layout Die Set.

Next, I stamped these super cute images from Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I also used Newton's Boo-tiful Night Die Set to cut out the moon and stars from cream colored paper.

For the sentiment, I die cut a piece of gray paper using the ticket shape die from the Framework Die Set.  I then stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set, and cream heat embossed.

I assembled my card using a gray cardbase, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen and a little glitter!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Inky Paws Challenge - Color Challenge Week 1

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #233 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Cream.  We are starting monthly challenges, so you have until October 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I used the Argyle Stencil Set with Distress Oxide Inks Crushed Olive and Spiced Marmalade on cream colored paper.  I then used the Fractured Card Layout Die to cut the stenciled paper and a piece of gray paper as well.

Next, I stamped these gorgeous images from the Autumn Reads Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Autumn Reads Stamp Set, onto gray paper and cream heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using a gray cardbase, and popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
