TRHD April Release Inspiration Hop - Day 3

   Hi everyone!  Today is Day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs April Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring two new stencils, Torn Paper and Beam of Light, and the awesome new Shaker Acetate Sheets!  The Shaker Acetate Sheets are really easy to create with, and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

I started this card by cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock to just under A2 size so it would fit perfectly in the Shaker Acetate Sheet!  I used the Torn Paper Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to create the ground.  I then used the Beam of Light Stencil with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed to create a sunny background!  

Next, I stamped out this super cute meerkat image from the Meaningful Meerkat Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Meaningful Meerkat Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I assembled my card adhering the image directly onto the background.  I put my card in the Shaker Acetate Sheet, added embellishments from the Black Tie Shaker Blend, sealed the Shaker Acetate Sheet, and adhered my card to a dark kraft card base!

TRHD April Release Inspiration Hop - Day 2

  Hi everyone!  Today is Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs April Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and gorgeous Meaningful Meerkat Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock to mini slimline size.  I used the Clouds in my Coffee Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to create the sky, and Vintage Photo along with copic markers to create the ground.

Next, I stamped out this adorable meerkat from the Meaningful Meerkat Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  I then stamped out the fence image from the I Really Dig You Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Meaningful Meerkat Stamp Set, directly onto the background in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I assembled my card using blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the meerkat image with foam tape for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  I hope you are enjoying the hop today!  Thank you for joining us!

 Hi everyone!  Today is Day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs April Release Inspiration Hop and it is featuring the new and adorable I Really Dig You Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop.

I started this card by die cutting two pieces of smooth white cardstock using the two smallest dies from the You've Been Framed Layering Die Set.  I then stamped out the images of the small tools in light gray ink from the I Really Dig You Stamp Set in a random pattern on the smallest piece of cardstock to create a light colored background.

Next, I stamped out the potted plants from the I Really Dig You Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I cut out a gray sentiment banner using the banner dies from the You've Been Framed Layering Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the I Really Dig You Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using gray cardstock for the base, and popped up the images and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #194 - Color Challenge Reminder Post

 Hi everybody!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #194 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Bubblegum Pink, Lilac, Spring Green, and White.  You have until Friday, March 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the Serene Stripes Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Kitsch Flamingo and Shaded Lilac to create the background.  

Next, I stamped out this adorable llama and accessories from the Loveable Llamas Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I die cut a sentiment banner from light purple cardstock using one of the stitched banner dies from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I then used the banner die again, cutting down one end of the banner to make it smaller.   I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Loveable Llamas Stamp Set, and white heat embossed.

I assembled my card using light purple cardstock for the base.  I used the Oval Frames Die Set to cut a vellum oval on which I placed the sentiment banner and images!

For finishing touches on this card I added accents with a white gel pen, glitter and glossy accents!  Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products.  Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge!  Hope to see you there!

Have an Eggcellent Easter

   Hi everyone!  I'm up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today sharing this card I created using the super cute Eggcellent Cupcakes Stamp Set, and gorgeous Moroccan Flowers Stencil!

To start this card, I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to mini slimline size.  I used the Moroccan Flowers Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac to create a colorful background!

I then stamped out this cute cupcake, flower, and peep from the Eggcellent Cupcakes Stamp Set, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  The cupcake stand is from the Jolly Cupcakes Stamp Set.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Eggcellent Cupcakes Stamp Set, onto lilac cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut the sentiment.

I assembled my card using lilac cardstock for the base, and added a ribbon to ground my cupcake stand.  I popped up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimenion!

Inky Paws Challenge #194 - Color Challenge

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #194 - Color Challenge.  The colors are Bubblegum Pink, Lilac, Spring Green, and White.  You have until Friday, March 31st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the Slimline Frames and Windows Die Set.  On each window I used the Clouds Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Kitsch Flamingo and Shaded Lilac, and the Hills and Grass Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.  I used the Slimline Frames and Windows Die Set again to cut the window frames out of light purple cardstock.  I then used the scalloped frame die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set to cut a piece of white cardstock.

I stamped out these adorable bunnies and butterflies from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers, and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Bitty Bunnies Stamp Set, directly onto the background in gray pigment ink and clear heat embossed.

I assembled my card using light purple cardstock for the base.  I popped up the window frames and images with foam tape for some dimension!

 Hi everyone!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing this card I created featuring the beautiful Peaceful Bee Hot Foil Plates!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies for my background.  I really wanted the image to be the feature of this card, so I left the background plain.

I used the absolutely gorgeous Peaceful Bee Hot Foil Plates to create the floral peace sign image.  I colored the image with copic markers, and cut it out using the Peaceful Bee Die Set.

Next, I used the Hugs - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies to create the sentiment.  I die cut the word "Hugs" out of white glitter cardstock, and the shadow out of metallic gold cardstock.

I assembled my card using metallic gold cardstock underneath the base so you can see it through the die cut frame.  I used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added glitter to the center of the flowers, and a few Clear Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Inky Paws Challenge #193 - Spring Theme Reminder Post

 Hi everyone!  This is an Inky Paws Challenge reminder post!  This is Inky Paws Challenge #193 - Spring Theme.  You have until Friday, March 17th to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop! 

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock using the scalloped frame die from the Slimline Frames and Portholes Die Set.  I wanted to make a mini slimline card, so I used the same die to cut the paper a little shorter on one end.  I then used the Clouds Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Antique Linen, Kitsch Flamingo, and Shaded Lilac to create a colorful sky background!  I then used the Land Borders Die Set to cut the grass out of textured green cardstock. 

Next, I stamped this super cute image of Newton from Newton's Birdhouse Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  The butterflies are from Newton's Birdbath Stamp Set, and the flowers are from the Destination Love Stamp Set. 

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Newton's Birdhouse Stamp Set directly onto the background in black pigment ink, and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using teal cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

   Hi everybody!  I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today sharing this card I created featuring the adorable Sunny Days and Rainbows Stamp Set illustrated by Agota Pop!

I started this card by die cutting a piece of smooth white cardstock with the second largest die from the You've Been Framed - Layering Dies.  I then used the Amanda Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to create a gorgeous leafy background!  I splattered the background with gold watercolor paint and set it aside to dry.

I stamped out this super cute image of the bee resting on a flower from the Sunny Days and Rainbows Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Peaceful Bee Stamp Set, onto green cardstock and white heat embossed.  I cut the sentiment out using the coordinating die set.

I assembled my card using green cardstock for the base.  I used foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment for some dimension!

For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, glitter, and a few Clear Sparkle Enamel Dots!  Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today!
