Hi everyone! I am up on the Pawsome Stamps blog today! I just love the beautiful ornaments in the Deck the Halls Stamp Set! They are perfect for making Christmas Cards!
To start this card I cut a navy cardbase to A2 size. I used a scalloped frame die to die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock on which I blended Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch. I then splattered the ink blended background with silver watercolor.
Next, I stamped these gorgeous ornaments and greens from the Deck the Halls Stamp Set and silver heat embossed. I colored them with my Zigs and cut them out with their coordinating dies.
After my ink blended background was dry, I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the Deck the Halls Stamp Set.
I adhered the ink blended background to my cardbase, and used foam tape to adhere the ornaments and greens to give some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card I added white gel pen accents, and a few sparkling sequins from the Icicle Sequin Mix! Thank you and I hope you enjoyed my card today! Be sure to stop by the Pawsome Stamps shop to pick up your Deck the Halls Stamp Set and get started on those Christmas cards!
