Inky Paws Challenge #242 - Color Challenge Week 4

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 4 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue.  You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the Postage Stamp Layout Die.  I then used Distress Oxide Ink Kitsch Flamingo to blend some pink onto the little rectangles, and adhered them, along with the postage stamp frame, to light blue cardstock for my background.

Next, I stamped out these gorgeous images from the Succulent Garden Stamp Set.  I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Succulent Garden Stamp Set, onto the top middle rectangle in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!

I assembled my card using dark blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the images with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 - Color Challenge Week 3

 Hi everybody!  This is Week 3 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue.  You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I used the scalloped frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to cut a piece of light blue cardstock.  I then used the Mugs Stencil with clear glitter paste to create a sparkling background!  Next, I used the rectangle stitched window frame die from the same die set to cut out the dark blue window frames.  

I then stamped out these gorgeous images from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set.  I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set, onto dark blue cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.

I assembled my card using dark blue cardstock for the base, popping up the images and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 - Color Challenge Week 2

 Hi everyone!  This is Week 2 of the Inky Paws Challenge!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue.  You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I used the Tropical Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Kitsch Flamingo and Dried Marigold on smooth white cardstock to create the background.  I then die cut it using the Fractured Card Layout Die. 

I stamped out this adorable jeep from the Beach Bound Stamp Set, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out using the coordinating die set.

Next, I die cut a banner for the sentiment using the stitched fishtail banner die from the Banner Trio Die Set.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Beach Bound Stamp Set, in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine!  I then blended on some Kitsch Flamingo around the edges.  

I assembled my card using light blue cardstock for the base, and popped up the jeep and sentiment banner with foam tape for some dimension!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 - Color Challenge Week 1

 Hi everybody!  A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today!  It is a Color Challenge.  The colors are Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue.  You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!

To start this card I die cut piece of smooth white cardstock with the scalloped frame die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I then used the Bokeh Balloons Stencil Set with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to create the background. 

Next, I stamped out the super cute image from the Birthday Roundabout and colored it with copic markers.  I die cut around the image using the largest scalloped circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set, onto dark blue cardstock and white heat embossed.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment.  

I assembled my card using dark blue cardstock for the base.  I popped up the Birthday Roundabout and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension!
