Hi everybody! A new Inky Paws Challenge starts today! It is a Color Challenge. The colors are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown. You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in and have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs online shop!
To start this card I die cut a piece of smooth white cardstock using the zig zag frame from the Frames and Tags Die Set. I then used the Petite Flowers Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed to create the background. Next, I cut a piece of kraft paper using the frame with 3 windows die from the same die set.
I then stamped out these gorgeous images from the Hummingbird Stamp Set. I colored the images with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating die set.
Next, I cut out a small kraft tag using a die from the Frames and Tags Die Set. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Hummingbird Stamp Set, in brown pigment ink and clear heat embossed for some shine.
I assembled my card using kraft paper for the base and popped up the windows and hummingbird with foam tape for some dimension!
For finishing touches on this card, I added accents with a white gel pen and a few sparkling sequins! Now it's time to get your paws inky creating a project for the Color Challenge using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Hope to see you there!
